IT Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business leaders to convert strategic goals and operational requirements into solution designs, architectural blueprints, and implementation roadmaps.

• Create comprehensive solutions encompassing applications, integrations, data platforms, and cloud environments, including future-state architecture models, migration strategies, and solution standards.

• Assess current business processes and propose automation opportunities utilizing AI, APIs, workflow platforms, and cloud services.

• Offer architectural guidance and mentorship to engineering and infrastructure teams, while assisting Agile planning through design reviews and backlog contributions.

• Develop and manage API strategies, system integrations, and enterprise data flows, including ETL/EDI implementations and interoperability standards.

• Integrate security, privacy, and compliance requirements into solution designs and engage in risk assessments.

• Analyze third-party products, assist in vendor selection, and maintain relationships with strategic technology partners.

• Conduct workshops and discovery sessions to collect requirements and act as a trusted advisor on technology-related decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 8+ years of experience in the IT field.

• 4+ years in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or senior technical leadership roles.

• Proven experience in designing enterprise-scale solutions across various technology domains.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Strong grasp of API design and integration, application architecture, data architecture, security and compliance, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

• Preferred: Experience in healthcare, healthcare administration, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.

• Preferred: Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or equivalent.

• Preferred: Familiarity with AI and automation platforms, enterprise integration platforms, data warehousing and analytics, EDI transactions and industry standards, or CRM/customer experience platforms.

• Preferred: Experience leading cross-functional technical projects.
