IT Security Engineer – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop our next-generation IT workflow automation tools utilizing Temporal and Go on a Kubernetes platform.

• Work in collaboration with the engineering team to implement and test Teleport, focusing on Teleport Identity (identity governance) and Teleport Policy (access policies).

• Create enhanced security measures and automation for macOS endpoints.

• Design IT automation solutions using tools such as Terraform, shell scripts, and Go.

• Build integrations with various tools including Panther, Jamf Pro, Okta, Rippling, and Google Chrome Enterprise.

• Perform standard IT Helpdesk responsibilities, assisting internal customers with access issues, lockouts, integrations, and configurations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A proactive approach to tackling traditional IT tasks, including setting up and troubleshooting IT tools such as Okta, Rippling, and Zendesk, as well as providing support to internal customers (helpdesk), and engaging deeply with Kubernetes, Go, and Temporal.

• Proficiency in programming with Go; experience with Temporal is advantageous.

• Background in Linux systems engineering and Kubernetes.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and shell scripting.

• Knowledge of IT security and administration practices.
