IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Comprehensive Project Leadership: Oversee the entire lifecycle of technical projects, from establishing scope and objectives during the discovery and selection phase to managing execution and deployment during the implementation stage.

• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Act as the main point of contact between technical teams (Business Applications, Data Analytics) and our Portfolio Management teams, ensuring that projects align with strategic objectives.

• Execution & Delivery: Ensure alignment and motivation across cross-functional teams, guaranteeing that project milestones are achieved on time and within budget constraints.

• Financial Oversight: Create, monitor, and manage project budgets, tracking all expenses and delivering regular financial reports to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a solid track record of successful project delivery.

• Proven experience managing the complete project lifecycle, including technology discovery and selection projects as well as end-to-end technical implementation projects.

• Demonstrated capability to manage complex projects involving multiple cross-functional teams, including both technical and business stakeholders.

• Proficiency in project management methodologies, particularly Agile methodology.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.

• Experience in budget management and financial tracking for technical projects.

• Direct project management experience with AI or data-intensive software projects is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence is preferred.

• Experience in a fast-paced, enterprise-level IT environment.
