IT Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• **Responsibilities:**

• - Oversee and direct the organization's internal IT infrastructure, systems, and daily operations.

• - Develop, uphold, and enhance cybersecurity policies, controls, and best practices in accordance with the ISO 27001 framework.

• - Administer and provide support for the Microsoft security ecosystem, which includes Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune.

• - Continuously monitor system performance, security, and compliance, proactively identifying and addressing risks.

• - Manage Microsoft 365 administration, user accounts, identity and access management, along with endpoint security.

• - Offer technical leadership and escalation support for managed services and help desk operations, ensuring prompt resolution of client and internal IT challenges.

• - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to provide secure, reliable, and scalable IT solutions.

• - Create and maintain IT documentation, security procedures, disaster recovery plans, and operational workflows.

• - Assess, recommend, and deploy new technologies to enhance business efficiency and fortify security.

• - Ensure IT systems adhere to organizational security standards and industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• **Qualifications:**

• - 2 to 4+ years of experience in roles such as IT Manager, Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or a similar senior IT position.

• - Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, especially **ISO 27001**, including governance, risk management, and compliance.

• - Practical experience with **Microsoft Purview** for data governance, compliance, and information protection.

• - Familiarity with **Microsoft Copilot** and the integration of AI-driven productivity tools within Microsoft 365 environments.

• - Strong proficiency in the **Microsoft Security Stack**, including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft 365 Security.

• - Background in administering Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and endpoint management.

• - Experience in supporting managed services (MSP) environments or leading help desk/service desk operations is highly preferred.

• - Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical decision-making abilities.

• - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of elucidating technical concepts to non-technical users.

• - Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified, Azure, Security, or Cybersecurity certifications) are highly desirable.
