IT Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Prepare, assess, and negotiate IT contracts, agreements, and various legal documents, with a strong emphasis on European and international jurisdictions.

• Address claim cases, conflicts, and legal matters that may arise in contractual relationships, ensuring the protection of company interests.

• Offer legal assistance regarding regulatory compliance related to data privacy, intellectual property, and software licensing.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (C-level executives, HR, Sales) to guarantee legal adherence within business processes and contractual commitments.

• Create and uphold effective processes for contract management, including risk assessment and mitigation techniques.

• Stay informed about European IT and data privacy legislation, ensuring compliance in all business activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law;

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a lawyer, specializing in IT law and managing disputes or claims.

• Demonstrated experience in European contract law and knowledge of the regulatory framework within the EU.

• Exceptional negotiation and drafting abilities for intricate IT agreements.

• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in handling legal disputes or claims.

• Proficiency in English at an intermediate level or higher.

• Capability to work effectively in a remote and fast-paced IT-centric environment.
