IT Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver 11-week live, online courses utilizing engaging, student-centered teaching methods.

• Cultivate an inclusive and supportive atmosphere that encourages active learning and student involvement.

• Provide prompt, constructive feedback and answer student questions within 24 hours.

• Conduct weekly office hours to enhance student comprehension and foster a sense of community.

• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to co-manage the course, including guiding the TA on effective grading and student engagement techniques.

• Assess student progress, maintain grade records, and submit evaluations at mid-quarter and the end of the quarter.

• Work with colleagues and Campus staff to exchange best practices and continually enhance instruction.

• Participate in co-curricular programming (e.g., speaker series, networking events) to enrich the student experience.

• Remain updated on industry trends and pedagogical methods pertinent to your subject area and online teaching.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the college or university level.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom facilitation abilities.

• Proficient with digital tools and platforms, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video conferencing software.

• Digitally fluent with the capability to effectively integrate AI-driven educational tools into your teaching.

• Proactive, dependable, and dedicated to delivering high-quality online education.

• Committed to equity, access, and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.

• Available to dedicate 8-10 hours per week per course, with some flexibility for training commitments.
