This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver daily IT support, including Service Desk coverage and resolution of escalated issues.
• Diagnose hardware, software, network, and system problems.
• Execute system upgrades, device imaging, and patch management tasks.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, as well as end-user system setups.
• Administer, maintain, and monitor servers, networks, and infrastructure systems.
• Provide support for Active Directory, virtualization (VMware), and Windows Server environments.
• Conduct network maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities.
• Oversee hybrid cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Create, maintain, and support enterprise architecture standards and guidelines.
• Convert business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective IT solutions.
• Assess and recommend emerging technologies for implementation.
• Assist in long-term infrastructure planning and roadmap creation.
• Support solution design and implementation to ensure compliance with architectural standards.
• Maintain architecture documentation, including system diagrams and technical standards.
• Ensure systems fulfill performance, scalability, and disaster recovery requirements.
• Engage in change management and governance processes.
• Integrate cybersecurity best practices into infrastructure and system design.
• Facilitate vulnerability management, patching, and endpoint protection efforts.
• Guarantee compliance with regulatory and industry frameworks (ISO, NIST, ITAR, CMMC).
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on security initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect are highly advantageous.
• Over 7 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 3 years in an architecture or systems design position.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, ITAR, CMMC).
• Proficient understanding of Windows environments, Active Directory, Entra ID, VMware, and Windows Server.
• Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, VLANs, WAN, Wi-Fi).
