This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +17 more states.
• Oversee, maintain, and secure cloud and server infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Set up hardware and software and conduct maintenance on servers and cloud systems.
• Actively monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot problems, and apply best practices for security and disaster recovery.
• Address user issues and requests that are directed by the Help Desk.
• Offer technical support to IT team members and firm users, which may include occasional mobile assistance and work outside regular business hours.
• Assist with migrations, upgrades, and projects related to cloud integration.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and essential infrastructure services.
• Install, configure, and maintain both physical and virtual servers.
• Implement patches and updates.
• Monitor and enhance server and cloud performance, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Administer Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Teams Phones, Intune, and OneDrive for Business.
• Execute Office 365 compliance and security measures while training the Service Delivery Team.
• Establish security policies and access controls, applying remediation measures from the Security Team.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop backup strategies and disaster recovery plans; conduct backup tests and restoration drills.
• Utilize monitoring applications and engage in 24x7 on-call rotations for critical monitoring and after-hours escalations.
• Manage service requests, incidents, and changes in accordance with ITIL best practices.
• Create automation scripts and refine configurations for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Maintain documentation, cross-train administrators, and produce performance and security reports.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A 2-year degree is preferred, or equivalent professional and educational experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a professional services setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Server and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bicep, and batch files.
• Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking principles.
• Excellent collaboration skills for project-oriented tasks.
