IT Implementation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Center Leadership and the IT Leadership Team to assess, plan, implement, and transition IT support to the AMSURG Managed IT Services Team.

• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing systems and workflows at the Center.

• Develop a transition plan that includes communication strategies and execute the transition of services.

• Create documentation for the IT Service Delivery team to assume operational support.

• Design a solution for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.

• Architect, build, and secure the strategy for Microsoft 365 and Azure.

• Monitor Azure Subscription to ensure that the solution adheres to budget constraints.

• Assess current IT equipment and suggest replacements as necessary.

• Comprehend and document existing networks, dependencies, and server infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

• At least seven (7+) years of IT experience in an enterprise setting.

• Experience in project management.

• Over five (5+) years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Administration architecture and management.

• Experience in server management.

• Familiarity with hypervisor technologies managing VMware ESXi and/or Microsoft Hyper-V servers.

• Experience with network infrastructure.

• Knowledge of risk assessment tools, systems, and application architecture.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Must be detail-oriented and organized.

• High integrity, including the ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Capable of exercising sound judgment and positively influencing and leading others, particularly in managing confrontations with composure and efficiency.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends as approved in advance.
