IT Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management and maintenance of all environments to ensure compliance with service level agreements.

• Assess the effectiveness of IT controls to confirm they sufficiently mitigate risks and adhere to requirements.

• Continuously monitor and assess the efficiency of IT governance processes and controls, offering recommendations for improvement in efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.

• Identify and propose process enhancements to quickly address recurring issues in collaboration with technical and business leads.

• Report on obstacles hindering the resolution of Incidents, Service Requests, Problem Management, and Change Management by pinpointing and addressing root causes with technical and business leads.

• Engage in incident response efforts by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and conducting reviews of corrective actions to avert future incidents.

• Develop, maintain, lead, and communicate Major Incident Management processes and their delivery.


⛳️ Requirements

• An associate’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience is essential.

• ITIL Certification is preferred.

• 1-3 years of technical experience in information technology or computer science is required.

• Experience in leading a team of analysts managing an Enterprise Service Suite is necessary.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Proven expertise in Business Process Mapping techniques.

• Experience collaborating with business subject matter experts to elicit process details and work instructions.

• Experience in requirements gathering and documentation is a must.

• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.

• Familiarity with the ITIL framework is required.

• Understanding of the Agile framework is beneficial.

• Commitment to participating in, adhering to, and supporting compliance program objectives is expected.

• The capability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues is essential.
