This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Collaborate with international trade teams, IT departments, and external stakeholders to collect and document business requirements.
• Evaluate existing processes and systems to pinpoint gaps and opportunities for enhancement.
• Convert business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Develop IT solutions that facilitate global trade operations, including customs compliance, import/export procedures, and trade finance.
• Ensure that solutions are in alignment with business objectives, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
• Aid in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects related to global trade.
• Work in close collaboration with project managers to guarantee timely project delivery within scope and budget.
• Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.
• Conduct workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather feedback and validate solutions.
• Ensure that IT solutions adhere to international trade regulations and standards.
• Identify potential risks and collaborate with teams to formulate mitigation strategies.
• Create and implement test plans to confirm that IT solutions fulfill business requirements and quality standards.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues as necessary.
• Discover opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.
• Produce comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user manuals.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management regarding project status, risks, and issues.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience.
• If no degree, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• At least 4 years of experience in IT business analysis.
• Practical experience supporting global trade operations in an IT environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and global trade management software.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with global trade systems such as Descartes OCR EASE or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of data analysis, reporting tools, and process modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Understanding of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and import/export processes.
• PMP, CBAP, ITIL, or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Familiarity with trade finance, supply chain operations, and logistics processes.
• Experience with data integration, APIs, and system interfaces.
