This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the strategy for managing endpoints across an expanding ecosystem of macOS devices.
• Drive the Zero-Touch device provisioning process while ensuring accurate hardware inventory records.
• Implement endpoint management tools and establish device trust frameworks utilizing technologies like Jamf and Okta.
• Administer, optimize, and scale the Single Sign-On (SSO) environment.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Security teams to deploy Privileged Access Management solutions.
• Deploy Device Health Assurance protocols using enterprise-level tools.
• Design and implement IAM workflows to automate processes across departments, including IT Support, Recruiting, and HR.
• Develop proposals and strategies for a Robotic Process Automation platform aimed at enhancing back-office operations.
• Conduct audits of systems and processes to pinpoint and implement cost-saving measures.
• Work alongside Security to design and uphold a Zero Trust security model.
• Ensure that IT infrastructure aligns with SOC2, HIPAA, and HITRUST compliance standards.
• Manage the issuance of API keys and integrations in accordance with internal security policies.
• Oversee and sustain Data Loss Prevention protocols.
• Act as a Tier 2 escalation point for intricate IT support inquiries.
• Participate in an on-call rotation covering approximately 20% of nights and weekends.
• Within the first 90 days, plan the implementation of Device Trust, enhance an automation workflow, and improve the accuracy of Mac fleet provisioning and inventory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Systems Administrator, IT Engineer, or senior escalation-level IT Support position.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IT security fundamentals, including Zero Trust principles.
• Proficiency in Okta SSO configuration, user lifecycle management, and advanced automation workflows.
• Experience managing enterprise Mac endpoints and macOS administration.
• Prior experience with Jamf is highly preferred.
• Proven success in designing and implementing repeatable AI-enabled workflows that address team bottlenecks and enhance efficiency.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Must adhere to Virta’s security and privacy protocols when managing HIPAA-regulated patient information.
• A location-based compensation structure with a base salary ranging from $96,000 to $124,500 annually.
