IT Business Continuity Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist in project and program management tasks.

• Collaborate with technical teams to define requirements and develop testing plans.

• Recognize scenarios for business continuity.

• Organize deployment and exercise initiatives.

• Plan, prepare, execute, and document Business Continuity activities within the IT framework.

• Aid in IT Business Continuity planning to ensure that essential organizational operations persist during disruptions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen residing on US soil (required).

• Must have work authorization in the United States that does not currently or will not in the future require visa sponsorship.

• Ability to collaborate with technical teams to document work efforts, coordinate tasks across teams, and assist in the creation of work products or templates.

• Capability to work effectively both in a team setting and independently.

• Skill in identifying potential areas for improvement and making recommendations.

• Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to build strong professional relationships with team members.

• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and Visio.

• 1–2 years of experience in requirements gathering and/or testing (preferred).

• Experience participating in a Disaster Recovery or Ransomware exercise or a real-life scenario (preferred).

• Familiarity with business impact and risk analysis processes (preferred).

• Ability to work collaboratively with business and technology professionals (preferred).
