IT Business Application Enterprise Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the architectural design, development, and deployment of Salesforce, Oracle Netsuite, and other cost-effective, sustainable technical and enterprise application solutions to fulfill business needs.

• Converts business requirements into complex methods/models to identify suitable system solutions.

• Investigates, identifies, tests, certifies, and selects technology products essential for solution delivery.

• Develops and executes technology migration strategies for applications or architectures.

• Responsible for global enterprise application integrations and architecture, including Salesforce.com, Oracle Netsuite, Dell Boomi, data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development.

• Provides technical leadership, establishing best practices for integration and application development, deployment, testing (both unit and systems), and iterative refinement.

• Designs technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms, incorporating integration and authentication across systems.

• Manages the full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through the implementation of various functional architecture solutions.

• Collaborates closely with business SMEs, demonstrating individual functional and professional expertise to ensure the highest quality of work products and deliverables.

• Utilizes project management skills to identify, develop, and implement strategies to enhance engagement productivity, boost efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings.

• Facilitates issue resolution among team members in a way that maintains productivity and high motivation levels.

• Conceptualizes, presents, and executes ideas within tight deadlines, particularly focusing on serving as a technical lead on development projects or as a team lead or architect across multiple software development projects or workstreams.

• Builds upon existing investments, service-oriented architecture, and web solutions while leveraging established concepts, architectures, and technologies.

• Collaborates with both technical and non-technical team members, clients, and vendors in a technology-neutral language to define, build, and deliver solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of development experience on the Salesforce platform.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience leading Enterprise Salesforce implementations with over 300 users, integrating with enterprise applications such as Oracle and SAP.

• Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ; experience in implementing CPQ is a significant advantage.

• Profound understanding of the capabilities and limitations of Salesforce.

• Proven record of successful implementation of Batch Apex and/or Schedule Apex development.

• Experience with various ERP functional solutions architectures, with a focus on NetSuite being a considerable plus.

• Demonstrated capability to deliver the complete systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation for diverse functional architecture solutions.

• Proven experience in identifying, developing, and implementing strategies to enhance engagement productivity (e.g., increasing efficiencies, mitigating risks, resolving issues, and optimizing cost savings).

• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with keen attention to detail.

• Experience with all facets of system implementation, encompassing requirements gathering, designing future state solutions, developing objects related to their process scope, in addition to supporting testing and post-implementation support.

• In-depth knowledge of integration points and the sequence in which these must be executed.

• Experience with gap analysis and the development of strategic roadmaps/blueprints.

• Proven ability to develop strategy, write, communicate, facilitate, and present effectively to various audiences, including clients and internal teams.

• Demonstrates extensive abilities as a team leader: supervising teams to foster an atmosphere of trust while seeking diverse perspectives to encourage improvement and innovation.
