IT Business Analyst – Aviation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• In alignment with IT policies and procedures, generate precise and comprehensive project scoping and design documentation for technical specialists to create suitable solutions.

• Gather and articulate clear, traceable requirements through interviews, document reviews, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.

• Critically assess information collected from various sources, resolve conflicts, break down high-level information into detailed components for better understanding, and differentiate user requests.

• Collaborate with developers, architects, subject matter experts, and other IT team members to define the technical vision that balances usability with performance requirements.

• Ensure that approved requirements are developed with adequate scope and detail, leading to the delivery of a solution that aligns with customer expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as an IT Business Analyst with contributions to software development lifecycles.

• Strong communication and documentation skills, especially for software projects, with the ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders across all organizational levels.

• Analytical and foundational project management skills, including a comprehensive understanding of how to interpret business needs and convert them into application and operational requirements.

• Capability to swiftly grasp intricate and detailed processes and summarize them effectively.
