IT Asset Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Maintain a precise and current inventory of all IT assets, encompassing hardware, software, and licenses.

• Establish and uphold an efficient asset tracking system to oversee asset locations, usage, and conditions.

• Collaborate with pertinent stakeholders to predict future asset requirements based on business needs and growth forecasts.

• Ensure proactive planning and budgeting for asset acquisitions and replacements.

• Process asset deployment and retrieval through incident and request tickets.

• Liaise with vendors for the physical deployment and retrieval of assets.

• Follow up, monitor, and escalate as necessary to guarantee task completion.

• Work alongside IT support teams to facilitate asset maintenance, repairs, and necessary upgrades.

• Ensure that assets are operating optimally to support business functions.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal.

• Ensure adherence to software licensing agreements and prevent penalties for overuse.

• Track and evaluate the total cost of ownership (TCO) for IT assets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of CMDB / ITSM Platforms.

• Prior experience with FreshService or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms, particularly in asset management.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration, including user management, license provisioning, and application deployment.

• Basic understanding of Azure Active Directory (AAD) concepts and administrative tasks, such as user provisioning, group management, and security policies.

• Experience in Endpoint Management and Reporting using Microsoft Intune.

• Knowledge of automations, integrations, and workflow modifications in ITSM platforms.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

• Prior experience in asset management, IT support, or similar roles is beneficial.

• Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation or CompTIA IT Asset Management (ITAM) are advantageous.
