IT Asset Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Maintain a precise and current inventory of all IT assets.

• Develop and sustain an efficient asset tracking system to oversee asset locations, utilization, and conditions.

• Work in conjunction with pertinent stakeholders to anticipate future asset requirements.

• Ensure proactive planning and budgeting for asset acquisitions and replacements.

• Manage asset deployment and retrieval through incident and request tickets.

• Liaise with vendors for the physical deployment and retrieval of assets.

• Collaborate with IT support teams to enable asset maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

• Monitor the status of assets until their return for redeployment or disposal.

• Ensure adherence to software licensing agreements.

• Perform regular audits to confirm the accuracy of asset data.

• Track and evaluate the total cost of ownership (TCO) for IT assets.

• Keep comprehensive documentation of all IT asset management activities.

• Implement and uphold security measures for IT assets.

• Create reports on IT asset status, usage, and lifecycle for stakeholders.

• Assist the helpdesk team during periods of decreased asset management activity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of CMDB / ITSM Platforms.

• Previous experience with FreshService or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms, emphasizing asset management.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration, including user management, license provisioning, and application deployment.

• Basic comprehension of Azure Active Directory (AAD) concepts and administrative tasks, such as user provisioning, group management, and security policies.

• Experience with Endpoint Management and Reporting in Microsoft Intune.

• Knowledge of automations, integrations, and workflow modifications in ITSM platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

• Previous experience in asset management, IT support, or related roles is advantageous.

• Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation or CompTIA IT Asset Management (ITAM) are a plus.
