This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver Level 1 technical support for internal client-server applications and escalate to Level 2 when necessary.
• Offer Level 1 assistance for external cloud and SaaS applications, escalating to Level 2 as required.
• Continuously monitor production systems and scheduled jobs, intervening and communicating as appropriate.
• Conduct regular maintenance on both internal and external applications.
• Complete cybersecurity checklists for both new and existing applications.
• Configure and test Single Sign-On (SSO) for new applications in collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Manage user authorizations and role-based access controls effectively.
• Ensure the Service Desk is equipped for new applications by integrating operational processes into all deployment plans.
• Lead the development and upkeep of the technical support knowledge base and application documentation.
• Assist in defining and documenting technical requirements for infrastructure, security, ongoing support, and performance.
• Support the installation, operation, and maintenance of software and applications.
• Research, assess, and recommend new tools or systems as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CompTIA A+ certification, or 3–5 years of experience in IT support and software applications.
• Previous experience in a Level 1 application support position.
• Strong skills in technical documentation.
• Basic understanding of SQL (entry-level queries).
• Experience in troubleshooting application-related issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft products and services, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory.
• Proven experience with M365 development tools (PowerApps, Power Automate).
• Experience with desktop virtualization technologies, such as Citrix and VMware.
• Experience in implementing and troubleshooting SSO and Microsoft token-based two-factor authentication.
