This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Carry out assigned responsibilities in alignment with Company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Engage in documentation, collaboration, and communication concerning activities, technical challenges, and solution development with the project delivery team and Team Manager on a regular basis.
• Complete assigned tasks and deliverables promptly and efficiently.
• Take part in site surveys, documentation assessments, and due diligence activities to evaluate facility conditions and create energy conservation measures.
• Contribute to design and submission reviews of new construction scope as part of the commissioning process.
• Actively employ the CxAlloy software to document assigned new construction commissioning scopes.
• Create pre-functional checklists and functional performance tests within CxAlloy.
• Generate technical reports and observations for the project delivery team to aid in solution development and provide insights on progress, system operation, on-site conditions, and other necessary building information.
• Independently implement energy conservation measures or collaborate with project delivery team partners, such as facilities staff or trade partners, as needed.
• Review pre-functional checklists and compare them to actual site conditions when required.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and adjust building system programming when necessary to apply energy conservation measures.
• Use test instrumentation to troubleshoot, verify, and enhance building system performance.
• Supervise and conduct functional performance tests as part of the acceptance of construction scope.
• Collaborate with project delivery team partners to ensure that implemented energy conservation measures and building system programming are thoroughly documented, understood, and stored both on-site and in Company designated storage systems.
• Maintain awareness of energy performance for assigned scopes throughout the project duration.
• Work alongside the project team to ensure that performance targets are achieved and sustained.
• Ensure that issues are accurately identified, communicated, tracked, and addressed by the relevant delivery team members and partners.
• Assist in resolving issues, including proposing solutions to the project.
• Proactively identify and escalate any obstacles to achieving project outcomes and scope completion to the team manager and director as necessary.
• Adhere to and exemplify IS Delivery and IS Technical Services process guidelines and SOPs.
• Uphold the organizational core values of the company.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in commissioning or a related field, including mechanical, electrical, building automation systems, programming, or building operation management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• A focus on safety.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to work with minimal or limited information.
• Self-motivated or capable of working with little direction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Cloud-Based commissioning software platforms.
