IS Applications Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Acts as the primary liaison for Information Services (IS) within the business area to ensure that all expectations for IS Application Services are met or surpassed.

• Responsible for comprehending and documenting business requirements while suggesting suitable IS solutions.

• Maintains documentation of operational workflows.

• Provides 24/7 on-call operational support for the portfolio of applications managed by the team.

• Capable of overseeing relationships with external IS vendors for approximately 5 to 7 business and/or clinical applications.

• Manages 3 to 5 small to medium-sized business projects using IS Project Management Methodology, Tools, and Templates.

• Reviews release notes for system upgrades and updates to grasp the implications for IS builds and their effects on end-users.

• Contributes to and/or develops training materials for applications and conducts user training sessions as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in the IT or healthcare operations field.

• A clinical background or knowledge in Pharmacy or another clinical environment is preferred.

• Experience with third-party Pharmacy systems is advantageous.

• Relevant Epic Certification(s) for the applications supported must be obtained within six months of the hire date.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint.

• High School Diploma/GED is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
