This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Provide timely and precise responses to product and technical support inquiries from customers, sales and service staff, as well as internal personnel.

• Address incoming customer questions regarding irrigation via the Company's technical support phone lines and website, including inquiries about product performance and specifications.

• Aid in diagnosing product issues, inform on product capabilities, and suggest appropriate replacement parts and repair methods.

• Document and classify incoming inquiries by customer type, product type, and geographic region, ensuring proper follow-up.

• Support Product Managers with special projects as directed by the Technical Services Supervisor.

• Maintain regular communication with Product Managers, providing updates on product failures, technical details, and product quality insights.

• Create and publish support articles on the website for Hunter products.


⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s degree in Landscape and Irrigation Design, Lighting Design, or equivalent education and experience is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, along with experience in landscape irrigation, agriculture, landscape lighting, and/or wholesale distribution.

• Comprehensive knowledge of landscape and irrigation products within the industry.

• Understanding of irrigation design and pumping system design is essential.

• Strong mechanical and technical abilities, including a solid understanding of Wi-Fi systems and basic electrical principles.

• Outstanding writing, listening, and customer relations skills.

• Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, including analysis, planning, organization, decisiveness, and sound judgment.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team setting.

• Competent computer skills, including proficiency with the Internet and Windows applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

• Willingness to travel domestically as needed.

• Availability to work overtime and/or weekends when necessary.

• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English, with the capability to engage with team members across the organization.

• Irrigation Association certification and water auditor training are preferred.

• Familiarity with competitor products is preferred.

• Proficiency in a foreign language is preferred.
