This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Receive and evaluate referrals for Interventional Radiology procedures and consultations.
• Ensure that all necessary clinical, demographic, insurance, and imaging documentation is complete.
• Coordinate referrals, outpatient procedures, follow-up visits, and scheduling.
• Acquire any missing information and provide additional scheduling support as needed.
• Secure prior authorizations when necessary.
• Maintain precise and confidential patient records.
• Distribute consultation reports to the relevant parties.
• Communicate effectively with patients, referring physicians, hospital personnel, and insurance providers.
• Facilitate a swift, helpful, and efficient referral and scheduling process.
• Preferred experience in radiology and/or medical office settings.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
• Positive and cooperative demeanor, capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using hospital patient information systems and understanding radiology workflows.
• Familiarity with Interventional Radiology procedures and medical terminology.
• Strong skills in computer usage, communication, organization, interpersonal relations, teamwork, judgment, and maintaining confidentiality.
