This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.

• Accurately execute prescription data entry tasks.

• Create and uphold precise medication profiles and Medication Administration Records (MARs) for inpatient unit (IPU) patients.

• Comprehend and implement variations of the IPU model and profiling requirements for hospice partners.

• Independently review and process faxed medication orders, ensuring timely follow-up as necessary.

• Reach out to hospices to acquire or clarify prescription details and document all interactions.

• Keep meticulous and accurate records of all call logs related to interactions.

• Collaborate with local pharmacies regarding claim adjudication for urgent needs.

• Preferred: Current PA or TN Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license in good standing.

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in pharmacy technician data entry.

• Preferred: Over three (3) years of experience in a pharmacy or managed care environment.

• Strong knowledge of pharmacy benefit design, formularies, and claim adjudication processes.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering quality service.

• Capability to balance efficiency, accuracy, and patient satisfaction.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Solid understanding of both brand and generic drug names.

• Required: Pharmacy Technician CPhT or EXCPT certification.
