IP Research Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive legal, business, and other research.

• Execute effective reference interviews and integrate findings.

• Assess various information sources for their currency, reliability, relevance, and cost-effectiveness.

• Maintain expertise across a wide array of legal, business, legislative, analytics, and docket resources.

• Utilize request tracking software to oversee, process, and document research tasks.

• Keep updated on advancements in the legal research field through ongoing professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• MLS (Master of Library Science) or equivalent experience in legal research.

• 5-7 years of professional research experience.

• Strong working knowledge of legal and business information sources.

• Proven experience utilizing Lexis, Westlaw, and other key legal research platforms.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines effectively.

• Excellent client service orientation.

• Highly organized with strong time management skills.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
