This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Assist in the U.S. patent prosecution process from initial filing to final approval.
β’ Prepare and submit a variety of filings to the USPTO.
β’ Review and format documents created by attorneys and agents.
β’ Monitor deadlines and ensure adherence to USPTO regulations and internal protocols.
β’ Provide support with billing, docketing, status updates, and communication with clients.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of general intellectual property experience.
β’ Capability to work autonomously while managing various priorities.
β’ Exceptional proofreading abilities and a keen eye for detail.
β’ Strong writing and organizational skills.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and basic computer operations.
β’ Physical capability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
β’ High school diploma or GED required (a college degree is an advantage).
