This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Develop, sustain, and enhance existing iOS applications utilizing Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Define and advance the architecture of the iOS codebase to ensure scalability, modularization, and maintainability.
• Design and execute efficient, testable technical solutions.
• Prepare applications for a gradual transition to Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Migrate selected business logic and shared components to KMP.
• Collaborate with Android developers and other engineers on shared mobile architecture and APIs.
• Investigate technical challenges and propose architectural solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues while optimizing application performance and memory usage.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the development of technical documentation.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD and release workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on technical solutions, project planning, and estimation.
• Recommend technical and product enhancements.
• Utilize AI coding tools and engineering agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar.
• 4+ years of professional experience in iOS development.
• Strong expertise in Swift and its modern language features.
• Extensive experience with Swift Concurrency (async/await) and reactive programming frameworks like Combine.
• Production experience with both SwiftUI and UIKit.
• In-depth understanding of iOS architecture, application lifecycle, and platform frameworks.
• Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, modular architecture, and reusable components.
• Ability to independently design and implement intricate technical solutions.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, asynchronous networking, and multithreading.
• Familiarity with Xcode, Instruments, SPM, CocoaPods, and Fastlane.
• Understanding of App Store submission processes, signing, provisioning, TestFlight, and release management.
• Experience with feature flags, remote configuration, and A/B testing methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing practices.
• Practical experience utilizing AI coding assistants and engineering agents in daily development tasks.
