This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions within the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for patients dealing with substance use disorders, both face-to-face and through telehealth.

• Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and create treatment and discharge plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate with all team members at the clinic to develop and execute patient care strategies.

• Assist patients during crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care when needed.

• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational standards.

• Innovate methods to enhance access and overall care for disadvantaged and marginalized populations.

• Embody the company’s mission by demonstrating compassion and building trust and strong relationships with patients and communities.

• Inform patients and their families about substance use disorders (SUD), co-occurring conditions, and available resources to promote sustained recovery and overall wellness.

• Engage in regular case discussions, team meetings, and continuing education to remain updated on best practices in SUD treatment.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) designation in Tennessee.

• At least 2 years of experience in providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience delivering therapy within an IOP, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), or a similar treatment environment.

• Certification in addiction counseling is advantageous.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is beneficial.

• Strong understanding of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment approaches.

• Ability to effectively engage with diverse staff, patients, and members of the community.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible and can-do attitude, and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.

• Preferred: Qualified and interested in pursuing a license in North Carolina.
