Investment Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Oversee solar PV asset acquisitions and sales from preliminary evaluation to final closing in international markets.

• Establish and nurture relationships with investors, banks, developers, advisors, and other key market players.

• Monitor transaction activities, valuation metrics, financing conditions, and investor interest.

• Identify financing partners and counterparties within the solar PV and BESS sectors.

• Create financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, project economics, financing frameworks, and returns.

• Prepare investment proposals, valuations, and financial analyses, encompassing sensitivities and risk assessments for internal decision-making.

• Collaborate directly with banks and investors regarding financing alternatives, terms, and transaction arrangements.

• Coordinate with legal, technical, commercial, tax, and external advisory teams throughout the transaction lifecycle.

• Propel decisions, address challenges, and sustain progress throughout the transaction process.

• Contribute to expanding the network of buyers, sellers, and financing partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

• 5–7 years of pertinent experience in M&A, renewable energy investments, project financing, or asset transactions.

• Extensive background in solar PV or renewable energy acquisitions and sales.

• Experience in the Canadian market is considered a plus.

• Proficient in advanced financial modeling and valuation techniques, including familiarity with intricate project finance structures.

• Strong grasp of project finance, debt sizing, return analysis, valuation, and financial risk assessment.

• Ability to manage transactions autonomously while collaborating with banks, investors, advisors, and other external stakeholders.

• Proactive and commercially astute, with excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.

• Hands-on approach, comfortable assuming responsibility from the initial transaction phases through to execution.
