Investment Banking AI Research Contributor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop realistic Excel tasks based on personal deals, credit assessments, and research activities.

• Enhance existing models, rectify any issues, and create models from provided briefs.

• Methodically work through each assignment to derive a clear and accurate solution.

• Formulate precise yes-or-no criteria for evaluating attempts.

• Participate in a 30-minute group walkthrough call following application submission.

• Generate and present an original task, along with input workbooks and a detailed expected-result write-up.

• Submit tasks for automated evaluation and team assessment.

• Create a comprehensive yes-or-no rubric for circumstances when frontier AI models yield incorrect outcomes.

• Collaborate with a reviewer for task approval and address any requested modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in investment banking, credit analysis, structured finance, project finance, restructuring, or equity research.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Excel, including purchase accounting, calendarization, circular references, goal seek, nested formulas, and various financial functions.

• Strong writing skills; all tasks must be authored by you, not generated by AI tools.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Openness to learning concepts related to AI and evaluation methodologies.

• Provide a CV.

• Attend an available 30-minute group walkthrough call.

• Develop and submit one original task based on your own work.

• Include a brief, the actual input workbook(s), and a write-up of the expected outcomes.

• Ensure input files are crafted by humans and utilize sanitized real data or public data with proper source citation.

• Utilize only materials that are authorized for sharing, ensuring the removal of any confidential information related to employers, clients, and personal data, including from hidden sheets, comments, pivot caches, and external links.
