This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +1 more state.
• Utilize previous experience in investment banking or related sectors to improve the execution of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and/or capital raising efforts, thereby aiding in the growth of Texas Capital’s franchise.
• Achieve revenue and financial objectives by developing and sustaining a pipeline of episodic deals.
• Ensure that the solutions proposed to clients align with or surpass internal risk and return benchmarks, including strict ethical standards.
• Anticipate upcoming market shifts.
• Identify and foresee various types of risks (e.g., industry, portfolio, diversification, sovereign, commercial, currency, etc.).
• Act as a leader and mentor within the banking team, implementing staffing models that cater to business requirements and the career development of junior staff.
• Cultivate client relationships by offering sophisticated financial solutions customized to their needs and by serving as a knowledgeable source on market trends.
• Oversee and execute a wide array of capital markets and advisory service transactions, as well as lead the project/deal team, ensuring the quality of work throughout all transaction phases.
• Be the authority on regulatory, financial, and intricate strategic matters related to corporate finance transactions.
• Carefully evaluate risk in business decision-making, giving special attention to the firm's reputation and protecting Texas Capital, its clients, and its assets by ensuring compliance with relevant laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices, and addressing, managing, and reporting control issues transparently.

• Experience in recruiting, training, and managing individuals at all levels of an investment banking team.

• Proficiency in developing and engaging with clients in a professional and mature manner.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with the aptitude to synthesize large volumes of information and create innovative solutions.
• Flexibility to manage multiple projects independently and concurrently.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities (including proficiency in Excel modeling and valuation work).
• Comprehensive understanding of the financial, legal, and reputational risks confronting investment banks in the current environment.
