Investment Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive analysis and evaluation of commercial and financial data pertaining to acquisition targets.

• Develop and present evaluations regarding the initial compatibility of acquisition targets.

• Execute market research to gain insights into industry trends and identify new acquisition prospects.

• Locate software businesses that align with our acquisition criteria and metrics, guiding opportunities through the deal cycle.

• Assist the M&A team with various ad hoc responsibilities related to finalizing active deals.

• Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams regarding data requests, information sharing, project team meetings, and deal execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A maximum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following fields is essential:

• - Transaction advisory services, such as Quality of Earnings and Quality of Revenue engagements

• - Buy-side financial due diligence advisory

• - Public accounting or external audit experience serving technology or software companies

• - Corporate development, FP&A, or finance roles in software or SaaS businesses

• - Revenue accounting and operations experience in software or SaaS companies

• - Controllership or accounting operations in software or SaaS businesses

• - Business operations or strategic finance experience within software or SaaS sectors

• - Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and policies.

• - Proven strong academic track record from a top-tier institution.

• - Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business area; CPA or CFA pursuit is a notable advantage.

• - Maturity and presence to effectively engage with C-level executives.

• - Flexibility to work half of each day in accordance with the business hours of our North American office.

• - Self-motivated individual with excellent sales and communication capabilities.

• - Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with a keen attention to detail.
