Investment Analytics, Reporting Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive preparation, evaluation, and dissemination of monthly, quarterly, and annual investment reports, which include summaries of portfolio performance and regulatory updates.

• Spearhead continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing analytics and reporting efficiency, bolstering internal controls, and minimizing operational risks.

• Create and present regular reporting packages featuring KPIs that influence investment strategies and allocation decisions across various business segments.

• Assist the investment team by leveraging insights from data and analytics to improve risk-adjusted returns and inform portfolio construction decisions.

• Develop and maintain models for ad hoc analyses, scenario modeling, and trend identification across different asset classes.

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to design and execute a scalable plan for data repositories and analytics systems that support the investment function.

• Conduct and communicate research on market trends and macroeconomic factors that guide asset allocation decisions.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

• At least 5 years of pertinent experience in investment reporting, analytics, or portfolio management support roles.

• Proven experience in insurance asset management or within the investment division of a financial institution.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of articulating complex financial data to non-technical audiences clearly.

• Experience working in a life and annuity insurance company or reinsurer.

• Knowledge of liability-driven investment strategies and asset-liability modeling.

• Familiarity with Bermuda regulatory reporting or solvency frameworks.
