This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
β’ Perform investigations aimed at effectively preventing, investigating, and prosecuting healthcare fraud and abuse.
β’ Recover lost financial resources.
β’ Adhere to federal and state regulations that require fraud prevention plans and practices.
β’ 1-3 years of investigative experience in healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with experience in open-source database search tools, social media, and internet research.
β’ Willingness to travel for business purposes and legal proceedings.
β’ Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC), AHFI, or CFE is preferred.
β’ Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
β’ Experience in dental investigations is preferred.
β’ Clinical experience in dentistry is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with CDT and ADA guidelines is preferred.
β’ Experience with Commercial and Medicare systems is preferred.
β’ Excellent communication and customer service skills.
