Investigator, Special Investigations Unit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform investigations aimed at effectively preventing, investigating, and prosecuting healthcare fraud and abuse.

• Recover lost financial resources.

• Adhere to federal and state regulations that require fraud prevention plans and practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of investigative experience in healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with experience in open-source database search tools, social media, and internet research.

• Willingness to travel for business purposes and legal proceedings.

• Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC), AHFI, or CFE is preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

• Experience in dental investigations is preferred.

• Clinical experience in dentistry is preferred.

• Familiarity with CDT and ADA guidelines is preferred.

• Experience with Commercial and Medicare systems is preferred.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
