This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Act as a financial contributor within the Project Team, aiming to ensure timely, efficient, and precise preparation and monitoring of site payments.
• Examine the financial component of the Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) to create a tracking workbook for site payments on a project and site-specific level.
• Accountable for overseeing the advance balance tracking for each project to guarantee that adequate prepaid funds are available for site payments.
• Collaborate with the respective Project Directors and Project Managers to offer guidance on accurately filling out the site payment workbook, ensuring eligible visits for payments are tracked and processed.
• Verify that the investigator site payment workbook properly calculates all financial fields to support precise site payments.
• Compile the site payment package for review and approval by the Project Director/Project Manager.
• Communicate approved payments according to the terms and conditions outlined in the CTA within the Finance Department, facilitating their entry into financial systems and payment processing.
• Prepare Aggregate Spend (Sunshine Act) Medicare/Medicaid (MMSE) reporting as necessary.
• Conduct site payment reconciliations.
• Manage the dedicated mailbox for investigator grants.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to colleagues on the Investigator Grants Team.
• Execute ad hoc financial tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Manager, Global Investigator Grants.
• Support the Project Team by managing the Investigator Grants pass-through budget.
• Gather data related to patient activity at each site and utilize this information to:
• Generate accurate client accruals.
• Process payments to sites based on the Fully Executed Clinical Trial Agreement.
• Project costs to keep track of overall budget health.
• Communicate with sites and clients via email to address inquiries.
• Demonstrate self-motivation, attention to detail, and the capability to work and plan independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Commit to fulfilling obligations, understanding the service culture, and maintaining positive interactions with customers and teammates.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from the local region.
• Three years of experience in Clinical Research.
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable focusing on global payments.
• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent skills in time management.
• Capacity to drive and meet critical deadlines.
• Ability to analyze, reconcile, and communicate financial outcomes with all project team members, both internal and at investigative sites.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
