Investigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee First Bank & Trust’s Fraud and BSA/AML programs on a daily basis.

• Investigate potential fraud and money laundering cases by conducting research and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Facilitate fraud training sessions for groups of varying sizes.

• Manage the FRAML Hotline and provide assistance with questions related to Fraud and AML.

• Track account fraud and card fraud alerts within the case management system.

• Monitor Smart Monitor, FRAML Inbox, and UAR alerts.

• Complete mandatory and optional reporting to external entities and organizations.

• Support internal and external education and awareness initiatives.

• Collaborate with local and federal law enforcement during investigations or recovery of bank losses.

• Aid in the implementation of fraud and risk mitigation strategies in line with regulatory and compliance standards.

• Participate in educational and training sessions.

• Represent FRAML in projects as requested.

• Adhere to FBT policies, procedures, compliance protocols, and required compliance training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Understanding of applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance regarding fraud and BSA/AML.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated capability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks and adjusting daily priorities.
