Inventory Planning Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for overseeing future forecasts, current inventory levels, order placements, and analytics.

• Primary OKRs encompass WOS targets, shrinkage, shortages, and stock availability rates.

• Involves future forecasting by utilizing key inputs such as historical trends, pricing, promotional activities, as well as inventory and seeding information.

• Collaborate across functions with Category Management, Strategy Planning, and Operations (including logistics); this role will also engage with the MM Product team to determine the requirements for the Merch team, facilitating process improvements.

• Maintain close relationships with vendors regarding Purchase Order management and essential metrics such as on-time delivery and fill rates.

• While functioning as an individual contributor, it is essential to establish strong cross-functional relationships that will allow this role to guide key partners. The capability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and utilize cross-functional insights is vital for advancing projects, initiatives, and results.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of applicable experience.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, employing functions such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and index matches.

• Ability to organize large and complex data sets, ensuring data accuracy while also identifying discrepancies.

• Capable of recognizing patterns in data sets that include internal and external factors, leading to the formulation of actionable strategies.

• Considers the impact on customers and understands what is significant to them.

• Draws upon industry insights and possesses excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google applications.
