Inventory Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Conduct physical counts of merchandise and cash in company stores using a handheld computer.

• Inform store managers about pricing discrepancies and remove expired merchandise.

• Count and document cash, checks, and food stamps in registers, TACC tubes, and safes.

• Authenticate money orders, manage lottery ticket inventories, and oversee bank deposits.

• Assess gasoline inventory by measuring fuel levels and checking for water contamination.

• Execute surveys to ensure adherence to operational and financial standards.

• Maintain a safe working environment by following established procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Operate independently with minimal supervision.

• Handle various tasks efficiently in a high-paced setting.

• Support team objectives by achieving related outcomes as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory auditing or retail within a convenience store setting is required.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license with no major violations and current liability car insurance is mandatory.

• Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.

• Compliance with safety procedures, rules, and regulations is essential.

• Ability to meet the stated physical demands, which include sitting, talking/hearing, handling or grasping objects, standing, walking, reaching, and lifting.
