
Intervention Specialist, Grades 9-12

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
β’ Modify and/or adapt the K12 curriculum to align with the state's content standards, catering to the unique needs of each student.
β’ Develop and maintain compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
β’ Collaborate with general education teachers to achieve the goals set for each student.
β’ Educate parents on various instructional strategies that can assist their children.
β’ Prepare necessary documentation related to students' progress and needs.
β’ Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
β’ Proctor achievement tests and other required assessments, including alternative assessments when necessary.
β’ Work together with the related services team to ensure the development and monitoring of IEP goals.
β’ Possession of a State of Ohio Intervention Specialist License.
β’ Bachelor's degree along with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.) and web applications.
β’ A minimum of 1 year of classroom experience is preferred.
β’ A Masterβs Degree with a focus on Special Education is preferred.
β’ At least 3 years of classroom experience in Special Education is preferred.
