This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversee the scheduling and coverage of interpreters.
• Allocate interpreters based on their availability, qualifications, language skills, location, and client needs.
• Confirm interpreter eligibility and credentialing prerequisites before assignments.
• Actively fill open assignments and scheduling voids to enhance coverage.
• Reassign appointments as necessary to ensure service continuity.
• Arrange for backup coverage whenever feasible to reduce disruptions.
• Address inquiries from interpreters and clients with professionalism, empathy, and promptness.
• Manage both incoming and outgoing communications related to scheduling and appointment changes.
• Resolve issues using a One Call Resolution approach whenever possible.
• Foster strong relationships with interpreters to enhance engagement and retention.
• Review appointment specifics, history, and special instructions before finalizing scheduling decisions.
• Keep precise records of appointments and scheduling documentation.
• Ensure that all actions, communications, and resolutions are thoroughly documented.
• Monitor scheduling activities to pinpoint and address potential service gaps.
• Adhere to scheduling protocols, departmental SOPs, and contractual obligations.
• Verify that assignments comply with all credentialing and compliance standards.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Document incidents, client communications, and resolution processes appropriately.
• Contribute to quality initiatives aimed at improving scheduling consistency and client satisfaction.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Experience in customer service, scheduling, administrative support, or operations is preferred.
• Background in healthcare, language services, or workforce scheduling environments is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills coupled with active listening capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational competencies.
• Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
