Interpreter, English - Albanian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Macedonia.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Maintain readiness to take notes throughout calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific terminology relevant to the healthcare and medical fields.

• Accurately and completely interpret all messages, ensuring no additions, omissions, or substitutions.

• Deliver exceptional customer service during the interpretation process.

• Enable communication between Limited English Proficient clients and service users by providing precise and thorough interpretations.

• Uphold professional standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Demonstrate a willingness to pursue new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report updates to your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code policies for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Albanian".

• At least 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation agency.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Knowledge of legal terminology is an added advantage.

• Possession of international certifications in the healthcare sector is a plus (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and an appreciation for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
