International Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Lead a culturally diverse team in mobilizing local churches and individual believers to spark church planting movements among unreached people groups.

• Foster a Christ-centered team environment and encourage spiritual growth.

• Propel strategic vision and nurture teammates' holistic development.

• Build connections with national leaders and guide strategic discussions for CPM engagement.

• Facilitate the creation of mobilization curriculum and resources.

• Recruit, train, and mentor national believers in CPM/UPG mindsets, methodologies, and tools.

• Acquire knowledge of CPM tools and best practices while consulting CPM practitioners to shape team strategy.

• Align regional strategy with the International Area Leader/Regional Director and other Team Leaders.

• Establish relationships with teams, organizations, and networks to mobilize national churches.

• Conduct regular team meetings and develop, implement, and assess team vision, strategy, and objectives.

• Manage team visa responsibilities and oversee major team events and organizational matters.

• Guide the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process for new team members.

• Supervise teammates’ language-culture learning and ministry activities.

• Hold monthly DOPE debriefs and annual evaluations for teammates.

• Administer disciplinary actions, delegate tasks, and manage resource allocation.

• Create a team Crisis Plan and appoint an acting Team Leader or emergency contact.

• Oversee the annual Personal Development Plans for teammates.

• Offer development in character, leadership, spiritual life, ministry skills, and spiritual gifts.

• Provide accountability, coaching for ministry, and strategic guidance.

• Support teammates holistically and promote unity, trust, love, conflict resolution, and peacemaking.

• Collaborate with other Launch Global Team Leaders in Thailand.

• Maintain consistent communication with the supervisor and fulfill required training and administrative duties.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated leadership experience.

• Completion of 1 year on staff with Launch Global in the US, or equivalent experience.

• Participation in a leader development process through their local church.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Ability to maintain personal support.

• Involvement in a 9-month training program with Launch Global in the US.

• Comprehension, affirmation, and adherence to Launch Global’s Statement of Faith.

• Commitment to uphold Launch Global’s Vision and Mission.

• Exhibit Christ-like obedience in accordance with biblical values.

• Represent Launch Global's character and biblical values as outlined in the Launch Global Staff Handbook.

• Maintain a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

• Complete child safety training upon hire and other employment-related prerequisites.

• Attain fluency in the local language to effectively understand local culture and worldview.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Capacity to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, function under pressure and deadlines, exercise sound judgment, and implement improvements.

• Ability to cultivate team development and a healthy team culture.

• Skill in identifying and nurturing the spiritual gifts of team members and national believers.

• Healthy marital relationship or content in singleness.

• A leader's reputation and character consistent with 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
