International Student Ministry Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Plan, execute, and oversee ISM activities at local campuses by recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers.

• Build and lead a team comprising volunteers and Christian students.

• Develop and implement strategies to engage with international students.

• Conduct weekly prayer and planning sessions with ISM staff.

• Recruit and mentor Christian internationals for leadership roles.

• Assist staff and students in cultivating their gifts and passion for ministry.

• Evangelize, mentor, and empower international students to spread their faith globally.

• Plan, organize, and execute ongoing ISM activities such as Bible studies, discipleship groups, dinners, and English conversation sessions.

• Plan, organize, and execute special ISM events including holiday celebrations, outdoor activities, conferences, retreats, and service opportunities.

• Follow up with new Christian internationals to integrate them into fellowship, discipleship, leadership, and instill a passion for reaching their home countries for Christ.

• Initiate a personal ministry of evangelism and discipleship with international students.

• Cultivate ongoing relationships with campus and local churches.

• Engage with the International Student Offices and participate in university-hosted international student events.

• Collaborate with other campus ministries, particularly those focused on international students.

• Mobilize local churches to participate in international student ministry through friendship partnerships, dinner sponsorships, ESL classes, airport pickups, and ISM special events.

• Strong organizational skills to plan and implement activities effectively.

• Proven demonstration of biblical leadership.
