
International Sales Manager – Distributor Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Recruit, manage, and nurture distributors globally, concentrating on Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and In Situ Hybridization (ISH) products.
• Assist in the market introduction of new instruments and reagents within the designated territory.
• Deliver consistent sales forecasts and ensure that quarterly and annual sales objectives are achieved.
• Formulate and execute pricing and go-to-market strategies for the designated region and product range in partnership with management.
• Gather market intelligence and competitor insights, and relay findings to internal stakeholders and management in a systematic manner.
• Ensure the execution of growth initiatives within the assigned region of responsibility.
• Facilitate business review meetings with distribution partners to evaluate market requirements and synchronize targets.
• Actively implement sales and marketing strategies in collaboration with internal marketing teams and distribution partners.
• Assist distribution partners with tenders, exhibitions, and customer visits as necessary.
• Support the Director of International Sales with budgeting, distributor meetings, and various sales-related tasks.
• Provide sales and application training to distributors and end customers for the designated product range.
• A Master’s degree is preferred (MBA or in a Biotechnology/Life Sciences related discipline).
• At least 5 years of international sales experience in Immunohistochemistry (IHC), In Situ Hybridization (ISH/FISH/CISH), molecular pathology, histopathology, or IVD diagnostics.
• A proven history of achieving sales targets and promoting revenue growth in international markets.
• Strong skills in business development, negotiation, and key account management.
• Experience in delivering distributor training, launching products, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Familiarity with IVDR, CE-IVD, ISO 13485, and other international regulatory standards for diagnostic products.
• Outstanding presentation, communication, and cross-cultural relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in CRM systems and adept at sales forecasting.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German and additional languages is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 40%).
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently across various regions and time zones.
• A Master’s degree (MBA or in a Biotechnology/Life Sciences related field) is preferred.
• Over 5 years of international sales experience in Immunohistochemistry (IHC), In Situ Hybridization (ISH/FISH/CISH), molecular pathology, histopathology, or IVD diagnostics.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and facilitate revenue growth in international markets.
• Strong expertise in business development, negotiation, and key account management.
• Experience in providing distributor training, product launches, and performance assessments.
• Knowledge of IVDR, CE-IVD, ISO 13485, and international regulatory standards for diagnostic products.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and cross-cultural relationship-building skills.
• Competent in CRM systems and sales forecasting.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German and other languages is advantageous.
• Willingness to undertake international travel (around 40%).
• Self-motivated, results-focused, and able to work autonomously across multiple regions and time zones.
