
International Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll in accordance with local regulations and Avantor's policies.
• Verifying payroll process results, including gross-to-net reports, variance analyses, payment files, and statutory declarations.
• Preparing and reconciling accounting entries for monthly closures and collaborating with the finance department.
• Executing off-cycle payments, such as final settlements, bonuses, or commissions.
• Managing payroll-related inquiries from employees, HR teams, supervisors, and external institutions.
• Monitoring changes in local regulations and collaborating with payroll service providers to ensure compliance.
• Preparing periodic payroll reports (monthly, quarterly, annually).
• Maintaining up-to-date process documentation.
• Providing support during internal and external audits.
• Ensuring the confidentiality of processed data and compliance with information protection policies.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in European payroll processes (e.g., France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands).
• Experience working with external payroll service providers (e.g., ADP, Safeguard, CloudPay).
• Ability to analyze payroll data and work with large datasets.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and independence.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency in English at a minimum C1 level (both spoken and written), with knowledge of another European language being a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Preferred: Certification in payroll or international payroll processes.
• Experience working with Workday, including PECI integrations.
• Knowledge of additional foreign languages.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
