This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Analyze genuine international arbitration issues and legal documents.

• Evaluate legal reasoning, procedural assessments, strategic advice, thoroughness, and practical applicability.

• Detect substantive legal inaccuracies, omissions, unsupported assertions, inconsistencies, and compliance issues.

• Assess intricate cross-border disputes, including jurisdictional, procedural, and enforcement factors.

• Review the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.

• Analyze sanctions and export-control limitations that may intersect with disputes.

• Assess emergency measures and interim relief, taking into account urgency, remedies, and practical implications.

• Evaluate six blinded legal documents labeled A–F.

• Conduct five direct comparisons against a common reference output.

• Choose superior responses based on substantive legal merit.

• Provide clear, specific written rationales for each preference decision.

• Adhere consistently to project guidelines and evaluation standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed attorney with significant professional experience in international disputes.

• Extensive experience in one or more areas: international arbitration, enforcement of arbitral awards, cross-border disputes, sanctions, export controls, emergency, or interim relief.

• Strong legal analytical capabilities.

• Excellent written English skills.

• Ability to evaluate legal work comprehensively for accuracy, thoroughness, judgment, and practical applicability.

• Comfortable comparing differing legal strategies and articulating preference decisions.

• Capable of working independently following detailed written instructions and deadlines.

• Must adhere to NDA and confidentiality obligations.

• External AI tools must not be utilized on project materials.

• Must refrain from using confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, institution, or other third party.

• H1-B and STEM OPT sponsorship is not available for this engagement.
