This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Deliver logistics assistance to the Emergency Medical Teams (EMT) initiative within the Western Pacific Region (WPR).
• Revise the operations support, logistics, and WASH elements of the training package for EMT members in the Western Pacific Region.
• Aid EMTs in incorporating warehousing needs into national and regional warehousing and supply chain management initiatives.
• Offer both remote and on-site logistics support to a minimum of 12 EMTs.
• Assist in the procurement of GEDSI-aligned supplies for EMTs in the Western Pacific Region.
• Oversee and report on the logistics support provided to the EMT initiative, updating relevant indicators in Monitoring and Evaluation plans.
• A bachelor's degree in international relations, humanitarian logistics, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent professional experience at both national and international levels, focusing on health emergency logistics, along with experience in a logistics leadership capacity within an EMT.
• Proven experience in creating and delivering training for health emergency responses, including training for Emergency Medical Teams.
• Exceptional communication abilities and demonstrated writing proficiency in English.
• Capability to collaborate and coordinate effectively across various agencies and countries.
• Ability to thrive in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary settings, engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, adept at managing shared calendars, file organization, version control, and project management.
• Proficient data management capabilities, including expertise in Microsoft Excel and similar software.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
