• Developing strategies for process enhancement and risk reduction to be applied across the supply base.
• Collaborating closely with external and internal customers, as well as key partners, to build effective relationships.
• Demonstrating the ability to manage issues across multiple stakeholder levels.
• Utilizing quality assurance to influence business decision-makers, ensuring alignment with the customer’s priorities and mission success requirements.
• Interpreting purchase order quality notes and requirements to guarantee subcontractor/supplier comprehension.
• Ensuring the flow-down of product requirements both internally and to sub-tier suppliers while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Evaluating subcontractor/supplier quality capabilities throughout the program lifecycle to meet full program objectives.
• Identifying supplier risks and systemic performance issues, ensuring root-cause analysis and corrective actions are developed and implemented with closure plans.
• Driving continuous improvements in products and processes using statistical and analytical tools such as Six Sigma and lean methodologies.
• Collaborating with other Quality functions and Cross Business Teams (CBTs) to facilitate rapid issue resolution leveraging analytical skills and communication abilities.
• Supporting First Article Verification and Source Inspection activities.
• Managing Supplier Requests, including presentations to the Change Control Board (CCB) and customers.
• Conducting Raytheon Enterprise Supplier Assessment (RESA) Chapter 1-7 assessments.
• Overseeing the Technical Data Package(s) being produced at suppliers.
• Performing Supplier Engineering Price Analysis Support (SEPA) and Cost Analysis Technical Evaluation Requests (CATER) for the Supply Chain.
• Understanding the Raytheon Global Export Management System (RGEMS) and related Licenses and Agreements for (EXIM).
• Conducting Capacity Analysis.
• Performing Hardware Acceptance Reviews on deliverable hardware.
• A university degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience.
• Relevant experience includes work in engineering, quality, or supplier management/auditing.
• Proven experience in managing and leading suppliers utilizing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methods such as 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.
• Demonstrated experience in working on process improvement initiatives.
• Experience in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data for informed decision-making.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory.
