This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Analyze realistic international commercial arbitration cases.

• Evaluate legal reasoning, procedural analysis, strategic recommendations, accuracy, completeness, judgment, and practical utility.

• Examine matters related to the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.

• Assess enforcement strategies, procedural necessities, potential challenges, and practical implications.

• Analyze complex disputes that span multiple jurisdictions, taking into account jurisdictional, procedural, and strategic factors.

• Review sanctions and export-control issues and evaluate regulatory limitations and their influence on dispute strategies.

• Assess emergency measures and interim relief, considering procedural alternatives, remedies, urgency, and enforcement aspects.

• Read complex legal matters and associated documents.

• Evaluate six blinded legal deliverables labeled A–F.

• Conduct five direct comparisons against a shared comparator output.

• Choose the superior response based on substantive legal quality.

• Provide concise, specific written justification for each preference decision.

• Cite relevant strengths, weaknesses, omissions, and practical considerations.

• Adhere to project guidelines and evaluation criteria consistently.


⛳️ Requirements

• A qualified lawyer located in the United Kingdom.

• Significant professional experience in international arbitration and cross-border disputes.

• Extensive experience in one or more of the following areas: international arbitration; enforcement of arbitral awards; cross-border disputes; sanctions and export controls; emergency or interim relief.

• Capable of evaluating legal work holistically for accuracy, completeness, judgment, and practical utility.

• Strong legal analytical abilities.

• Proficient in precise written English.

• Comfortable comparing different legal approaches and articulating preference decisions.

• Able to work independently while following detailed written instructions and meeting deadlines.

• Must refrain from using external AI tools on project materials.

• Must not utilize confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third parties.

• H1-B and STEM OPT support are not available.
