This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of the KPI reporting platform based on Streamlit (requirements, maintenance); define and prioritize technical specifications for country-specific secure data enclaves in collaboration with implementation teams.
• Maintain data governance standards and best practices by setting and enforcing data integrity protocols (e.g., minimum aggregation levels) and guiding teams on the responsible use of data insights.
• Lead and participate in special projects that enhance support models, improve partner enablement, and promote global scalability.
• Act as the main point of contact between Khan Academy HQ and country teams regarding analytics planning, reporting guidelines, analytics training resources, timelines, and deliverables. Your role is essential in fostering long-term data fluency within country teams.
• Cultivate and facilitate a community of analysts across country teams, providing opportunities for shared learning, peer support, and the dissemination of best practices.

• Over 7 years of experience in data strategy, analytics, and business intelligence, preferably in an edtech, nonprofit, or international setting.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
• Familiar with education data systems and possess a strong understanding of common educational metrics (e.g., usage, dosage, assessment outcomes).
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product teams, and educators.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proven cross-cultural competency, showcasing self-awareness, an understanding of others, and the ability to adopt inclusive perspectives, attitudes, and behaviors to foster inclusion and belonging throughout the organization.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and proactive in action; you enjoy building and iterating in dynamic contexts.
• Experience working across cultures and time zones, with the adaptability to support global teams.
