• Take charge of all public relations activities, encompassing press releases, announcements, bylines, awards, media inquiries, and executive communications.
• Act as the primary responsible party for the company's comprehensive press release process and governance, collaborating with an external PR agency tasked with drafting releases.
• Oversee internal review, editing, feedback consolidation, and approval processes for all press releases, ensuring consistency with brand voice, messaging standards, legal requirements, and partner obligations.
• Guarantee that final PR content is accurate, compliant, and prepared for distribution and publication on corporate web properties.
• Collaborate with Social Media and Brand teams to enhance the reach of PR announcements across owned channels.
• Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, strategic alliance partners, and external PR agencies.
• Maintain documentation and best practices related to PR, internal communications, and sales enablement processes.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in internal and external communications.
• Create and disseminate sales enablement communications linked to press releases, product announcements, partnerships, and company milestones.
• Convert PR into clear, engaging internal summaries, talking points, FAQs, and materials for Sales and client-facing teams.
• Develop and manage HubSpot content and sequences, as appropriate, to enhance sales enablement efforts and facilitate timely news sharing with clients and prospects.
• Lead internal communications initiatives that inform, align, and engage employees with company news, announcements, and priorities.
• Compose high-quality internal communications regarding PR announcements, bylines, executive thought leadership, and company milestones.
• Boost employee engagement with company content through internal campaigns, content sharing initiatives, and brand ambassadorship programs.
• Support internal initiatives that enhance culture, transparency, and connection within a distributed workforce.
• Function as a primary corporate writer for internal communications, sales enablement materials, social media copy, executive messaging, and supplementary content related to PR.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in internal communications, external communications, public relations, or corporate communications.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience managing press releases and intricate approval processes.
• Strong project management capabilities with the aptitude to handle multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Comfortable collaborating across functions and communicating with senior leadership and executives.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in B2B, fintech, SaaS, technology, or higher education sectors (preferred).
• Background in supporting sales enablement or internal communications initiatives (preferred).
• Familiarity with building or supporting employee advocacy or brand ambassador programs (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Monday.com, HubSpot, SharePoint, etc. or similar tools (preferred).
